[2 PART CLASS] Create a whimsical mosaic birdhouse just in time for Spring, led by Kathryn Nash
Service Description
Join us at Art & Connection for our two day Birdhouse Beauty workshop, led by Kathryn Nash. In this workshop, you will create a whimsical mosaic birdhouse, perfect to hang in your yard and enjoy all spring and summer. Learn the art of mosaic-making with techniques such as prepping a wood surface, cutting and nipping glass, composing designs, achieving color balance, and mastering adhesive and grouting methods. Choose from a variety of shapes and styles of birdhouses, each as unique as the birds that will visit them. Decorate the roof of your birdhouse, and choose from a rainbow of acrylic paints to add color and vibrancy to the walls of your birdhouse. This creative and enriching experience will foster both your artistic skills and personal connections amongst your classmates, all resulting in a unique birdhouse made by you. Ages 16+ YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS TO REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS. Students are allowed one mosaic class, per calendar year. Please call and add your name to the waitlist if you have taken a previous mosaic class in 2025. This workshop is a beginning level workshop, and no previous mosaic experience is required. All materials provided. Class participants should bring inspiration photos for their design.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a class up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class. No-shows, who haven’t notified us, lose the right to register for another event for 60 days (except for extenuating circumstances). Please be mindful that most of our classes have a waitlist. No-shows prevent others from having the opportunity to attend these classes. To cancel, please call us at (231)498-2522. Class Cancellations: Art and Connection reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment (minimum of five (5) students per class). Registrants will be notified. We will make every effort to reschedule a class when an instructor cancels but due to space and other classes we may be unable to re-schedule.
